Offered as a joint service between NSF-GFTC and AIB International this audit is a rigorous examination that challenges organizations to achieve and maintain a high level of food safety management. This is achieved through a preliminary GMP audit, desk review of HACCP Manuals and an in-depth on site audit that concentrates on HACCP Plan implementation and execution. Annual unannounced GMP audits in the years between full re-accreditation audits ensure programs are appropriately maintained. These audits are conducted by senior NSF-GFTC & AIB auditors who are experts in HACCP auditing and training.
This audit is primarily used by organizations who want to challenge themselves to the highest available level. The audit has been used by medium and large organizations including international corporations in the food and beverage industry. Accreditations have included manufacturers, brewers, bakers, produce packers, distribution centres and food services as shown in our Hall of Fame (pdf 208 KB).
