Growing Forward 2 Series

  • This in-class workshop will focus on how you can gain a competitive advantage and improve your bottom line by enhancing your existing Traceability system. The workshop will also provide examples and case studies on Traceability best practices specific to processing facilities. Topics covered will include enhancing your Traceability system and capabilities to achieve operational efficiencies, stronger supply chain management, continuous improvements, and competitive advantages. At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:

    • Discover methods for making your Traceability investment work to your advantage.
    • Evaluate how you currently collect and manage Traceability information in your business and identify methods for improving your processes in order to gain added value (through reduced costs, improved profit margins and increased market potential) for your business.
    • Discover methods that have worked for other processing facilities and identify ways to use these methods in your own business.

    This training module is available in both English and French. The delivery of this training program is funded by Growing Forward 2, a federal-provincial-territorial initiative.

    Information collected for the purposes of program registration and program evaluation will be shared with OMAF as part of the Growing Forward 2 funding requirements.  NSF-GFTC acknowledges that Ontario is bound by the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (Ontario), as amended from time to time, and that any information provided to Ontario is subject to disclosure in accordance with that Act.  Further, information shared with Canada may be subject to disclosure under the Access to Information Act (Canada).

Cancellation Policy:

Substitutions (in writing) are welcome anytime, but please notify us as soon as possible.

Early Cancellations (more than two weeks prior to the course date):
A refund will be issued for the registration fee paid, less a 25% processing charge.

Late cancellations (less than two weeks prior to the course date):
Refunds cannot be issued for late cancellations.

Program cancellation: GFTC reserves the right to cancel or postpone a program due to unforeseen circumstances. Should this occur, you will be notified as soon as possible. All efforts will be made to notify participants at minimum two weeks before the scheduled event. If GFTC cancels a course, your entire registration fee will be refunded.

Travel:In the event that you are travelling to attend a training program, please purchase travel insurance should the program be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
